About the presenter:
Manny M. Yonko, LMSW, is the Director of the Children’s Aid Society’s Family Wellness Program, where he also coordinates Abusive Partner Intervention services and training initiatives. Manny has been working in the domestic violence field for over 20 years and has written multiple curricula on intimate partner violence and healthy relationships. He also serves as a Trainer for A CALL TO MEN, a national organization dedicated to engaging, educating, organizing and empowering communities in preventing domestic violence, sexual assault and all forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls. Manny is a member of the NYC Coalition on Working with Abusive Partners (CoWAP) and coordinates the Peer Supervision group for CoWAP. He has presented at numerous seminars and presentations as an educator and trainer on a national and international level on issues pertaining to domestic violence and gender based equality. Manny received his Master’s of Social Work from the Advance Standing Program of the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
