Throughout our 105 year history, the Junior League of Brooklyn has played a major role in bringing about social reforms in the Borough, from creating the free school lunch program to advocating for the rights of victims of domestic violence. But we have not done this alone. Depending on the situation or the initiative under development, we have relied on a spectrum of friends and allies, partners and peers, to get our job done.
WHY PARTNER WITH US?
A partnership with the Junior League of Brooklyn accomplishes several objectives. First, it ensures that a program or an initiative that is needed in the Borough —our Business Etiquette Workshops, Kids in the Kitchen Initiative, Partnership with Women's Survival Space or Belle of the Ball Program— has a good chance of succeeding. Second, it helps our community partner to fulfill their mission of serving the local community.
